3 Husketeers Rescue is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) non-profit. We carefully guard every resource we have to maximize the number of animals we can save. Even though our adoption fees do not cover all the costs associated with our rescues, we never want to turn away a dog on their medical needs, or be forced to end treatment due to cost alone. Instead, we fight tooth and nail to support our animals in every way that we can. We can only do this with your help!
Because we rely on volunteers, we are able to get the very most out of every dollar we raise. Our excellent vet and training partners believe in our mission as much as we do, and give us a significant discount on their essential, life-saving services. Like us, they know that saving innocent dogs from certain euthanasia is a costly proposition...but it's worth it!

One of the most valuable things a volunteer can do is foster a Northern Breed. This allows us to gain an understanding of the dog's personality and place them with the best home.
Most of our volunteers work full-time jobs. We can always use help transporting a dog to and from kennels, surrendering homes, or to adoptive homes.
A home visit is a critical part of our adoptions. It allows us to evaluate the family our Northern Breed is going to become a member of. The more volunteers we have doing home visits - the more potential homes we have for our dogs.
