3 Husketeers Rescue began with an unexpected love story, between a former “cat mom” and the Husky who changed everything.

When Brian first suggested getting a dog, I wanted no part of it. But after a few missed appointments and one fateful visit, Bandit came home… and life was never the same. Six months later came Victoria, then Princess, and with each new addition, a passion for rescue began to grow.

What we discovered is that dogs, give a kind of unconditional love that is rare in humans. Their loyalty, resilience, and gentle forgiveness inspired us to share that gift with others. That’s why we founded 3 Husketeers Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving Huskies and Husky mixes a second chance.

Since opening our doors in 2018, we’ve rescued close to 400 dogs. Unlike traditional rescues or shelters, every dog that enters our program comes directly into our home, affectionately known as “The Pack House.” Our personal Huskies play an essential role in the rehabilitation process. As natural pack animals, they help teach new arrivals how to trust, socialize, and thrive. Each one of our dogs has a unique role in guiding and supporting the newcomers.

Rescue is personal for us. It’s our life, our passion, and our purpose. Every adoption, every transformation, every happy ending matters. The messages we receive from adopters, sharing how much joy their new family member brings them, remind us why we do this work. Those “happily ever after’s” are what fuel our commitment every single day.

At 3 Husketeers Rescue, our mission is simple: To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Huskies and Husky mixes, giving families the chance to experience the unconditional love that changed our lives.

Welcome to our pack.

THE RESCUERS

Bandit - AKA "The Guardian"

Bandit was the start of husky rescue and husky adoption for them. They dubbed Bandit "The Guardian" because he is the observant one, the one to notify, when someone is around. He is the welcoming committee to any & all people that grace their doorstep. Bandit is the fun & playful one. He brings the rescues out of their shell & lets them know it's ok to be a loving happy member of the family. Bandit lets them know that they are protected, loved & that everything is going to be better, from now on.

Victoria - AKA "The Queen"

Victoria is the Queen of the pack. She is the independent one, the pack leader. Victoria is one that lets the rescues know they can be goofy & strong at the same time. She will let you know what boundaries can & cannot be crossed, BUT … in a motherly sort of way. Victoria is the one who tells it like it is & doesn’t let you forget! Inside that beautiful soul is the mother that will not let you get away with anything! Unless, she approves it!

Princess - AKA "The Mother Hen"

Princess is the Mother Hen. She is a very gentle, loving & trustworthy mother. Princess is the go with the flow fur baby that just happened to be their first foster/husky rescue ever. She is a true diamond in the rough. She instantly completed their pack, which is now known as; "3 Husketeers". Princess helps the rescues transition into family life. If "the kids" act up, she is the one that scolds them by putting them in their place. Princess is the key component in getting these babies used to love & kindness, with a little bit of structure & respect thrown in, for good measure.
